Activity score

How the score works

Score = 100 × (0.40·P + 0.20·E + 0.20·H + 0.20·R)

  • P popularity = log10(1+stars) ÷ log10(1+top repo stars)
  • E engagement = min(1, log10(1 + (issues+PRs) per 1k stars) ÷ 2) — normalized by stars so big repos don't win by size alone; caps at 100 per 1k stars
  • H throughput = (PRs+1) ÷ (PRs + open issues + 2) — more PRs and a smaller issue backlog score higher. PRs = open PRs + PRs merged in the last 90 days
  • R recency = 1 if a commit landed in the last 30 days, then falls linearly to 0 at 180 days
