geo-sleuth

geo-sleuth (Oldcircle/geo-sleuth): Photo geolocation and chronolocation with checked evidence: an intake script reads metadata, runs OCR and reverse image search, a candidate board ranks hypotheses and says what to check next, and helper scripts look up phone codes, driving side, plates and area codes, rank satellite and street-view matches (CLIP, DINOv2+SIFT), and do sun/shadow maths, OpenStreetMap Overpass queries and terrain skylines. Output is coordinates with an error radius, evidence images and a confidence tier; unverified steps must be labelled. Asks what the search is for when the photo isn't the user's or shows a private home or minors. MIT.
